Ombudsman Saskatchewan can take complaints about provincial government ministries, Crown corporations, most provincial and provincially-funded agencies, boards, commissions, and publicly-funded health entities.
The Ombudsman is independent and impartial and there is no cost to make a complaint.
When possible, the Ombudsman’s staff try to resolve complaints using non-adversarial approaches such as facilitated communication, mediation, and coaching. If appropriate, the Office may conduct an investigation into the complaint, and may make recommendations that government take corrective action to address and resolve the complaint.
